Applied Palliative Nutrition Course
From Diagnosis to End of Life
Why this course?
Supporting patients at the end of life from a nutrition perspective is meaningful, but often overwhelming. Many health professionals feel underprepared:
-
Limited training on how to navigate difficult conversations.
-
Confusion about what actually happens to the body as end of life approaches.
-
Existing palliative care training is often pharmacology-heavy or purely theoretical, with little focus on nutrition.
Applied Palliative Nutrition fills this gap. You’ll gain evidence-based knowledge and real-world clinical strategies to:
-
Transform uncertainty into confidence
-
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams
-
Make nutrition decisions that respect quality of life and patient wishes
-
Navigate tough conversations with compassion and clarity
